Here is my application for

Just to be clear, his theme is snow. The cool swirly things behind the snowflake are mrithalwood branches. The symbol I used for his theme is his kingdoms crest.

Royalty name: Prince Snowflake (likes to be called "Snowy" sometimes)
Age and DOB: 18 / 12-25-???? (Christmas baby)
Hero Gender: Stands-to-pee (male, lolz)


Training to be: He wants to rule the Kingdom of Snowfall and be a kind and just ruler just like his mother.


Powers:
- Total manipulation over snow. This is a common trait among Snow People but can only be mastered by the royal family. Snowy, having not been properly trained in using his powers by his mother yet (she died before his basic training finished), his powers tend to go overboard if he's not careful (tries to make a snowball and instead causes an avalanche). He is still in training now, but he is slowly getting better.
- Able to float on the wind like a snowflake. This is a unique ability only to Snowy. Due to his "snowflake level" being to high, his body does not retain weight easily, making him extremely light weight. If a gust of wind is strong enough he can be blown away. At least he won't get hurt if he falls down: he will just float to the ground.


Personality/Behaviors:
Overall, Snowy is a very friendly and calm person and would prefer to get along with everyone, even those considered enemies to his people. He wants everybody to get along and not fight each other constantly. This thought processes of his forces him to travel all over Ooo, looking to make more friendships and mend any broken bonds between his people and other kingdoms.

He is also kind of dense when it comes to teasing. Because he was brought up in a very sheltered and pampered lifestyle, he has never experienced being insulted or picked on by others, so if you say something or do something mean to him he will either laugh - thinking it’s a joke - or look very confused.

He is also a big fan of cooking, mostly cold deserts like ice cream and freezer pies, and will sometimes make up his own recipes, such as snow pudding cake and slushsicle pops.


Hometown and History:
Snowy is from the Kingdom of Snowfall, a small yet prosperous kingdom located somewhere within the boundaries of the Ice Realm. The kingdom is most well known for their frozen deserts and mrithalwood crafted items. The rule of Snowfall has been on Snowy's mother side since several generations ago, as Snowfall Kingdom is primarily ruled by women (making Snowy a first). Sadly, Snowy lost his father during a battle against a Fire Golem before he was born, leaving him to be raised by his mother and Snow Golem nannies since birth, which explains why his looks and personality seem a bit girly. He studied to become a royal under his mother as she was the Queen of Snowfall before he took over, but he learned his basics (math, English, political science, etc.) under the various tutors hired by his mother. When he turned 17, his mother became sick with a rare and unnatural illness (similar to pneumonia) and only lived for a few more days before she died. Her statue was built to be the largest within the Garden of Royals, as she was one of the most loved and respected out of all the former royals. Even though he was still studying, Snowy took over the kingdom as Prince and has ruled with a gentle hand ever since.


Homebase/ Home:
The Snowfall Castle - perched on the very edge of a steep snowcapped mountain - resembles a large and elaborate roman gothic church made of snow and ice. The outside of the castle has two tall spires made of ice framing the main building, with the front of the castle surrounded by a moa t of freezing water which breaks off into two waterfalls behind the castle. An ice bridge is lowered whenever someone wants to enter or leave the main grounds. Inside the castle compound there is a Garden of Royals (which sort of acts as a cemetery) containing ice sculptures and graves of the former Kings and Queens of Snowfall, with snow hares, snow foxes, snow wolves and polar bears wandering the gardens in peace (they don t need to worry about getting eaten or eating each other, they are fed special diets and are overall considered vegetarians). Inside the castle itself, everything is made of tightly packed snow and ice with some furniture/decorations/etc. made of natural materials (cushioned chairs/ceramic pots/glass cups/cloth tapestries/feather beds/and so on…)

The village and shops surround a majority of the castle, except for the part that is along the mountain edge. The homes and store buildings resemble igloos on the outside but resemble normal homes or stores (with a bit of snow and ice here and there) on the inside.

Due to their extremely cold yet rich soil, Snowfall Kingdom is the only place within Ooo that grows mrithalwood, a very rare and beautiful teal colored tree that is light weight and flexible, but can withstand several thousand tons of pressure. It blossoms crystal-like flowers only on the winter solstice and are extremely valuable, and can be used in medicine, potions, and to sell for money. Mrithalwood branches and a snowflake make up the Kingdoms crest.


Catchphrase: “Oh, freezing slush gobs!” “Um… was that supposed to happen?”


Extra Quirks:
- He has a pet snow hare named Floofy. She is extremely fluffy and white and always has a blue and pink stripped bow around her neck.
- Snowy and all the other people of Snowfall have cerulean colored blood, not red. No one knows why exactly, but it might be because they are Snow People (more evolved and intelligent forms of Snow Golems) and thus are not considered human. His pale mint-blue skin also feels very cool to the touch, and his cheeks turn a dark shade of blue when he blushes.
- His blue-white hair trails off into pure white snow flurries just past his shoulder and is cool to the touch.
- While he can survive in other lands, his physical strength (and powers) are significantly weakened when he is away from the Ice Realm.
- He owns a baritone ukulele made out of mrithalwood. The base is shaped like a snowflake and is stained a sparkling baby blue color. Because of its materials, it can also function as weapon (but he hasn’t t needed it as a weapon so far, and he plans to keep it that way).
- He will sometimes play on his ukulele to help him think or if he gets frustrated and needs to clear his thoughts.
- Whenever he is outside his kingdom within another land in Ooo, you can see his breath when he talks/breaths.
- When his eyes become large due to any extreme emotion, it is revealed that his eyes are a silvery grey color with pale blue pupils.
NEW!
- As his name implies, Snowy is very light weight (his exact weight is unknown) which is what allows him to float on the wind. And when he stumbles over/trips/falls off the side of a cliff, he will either ride the wind or slowly float down to the ground safely.
- More often than not, the Prince is sometimes mistaken for a Princess.
- Height-wise? About 5'3''. Around the height of an average 14-year-old.
